Terms of service
These terms apply to every purchase made on the Joy&Join online store. By placing an order you accept them.
What you buy
Each product is a digital city guide in PDF format. After payment the guide appears in the "My guides" area of your customer account, where you can read it online or download it. No physical item is shipped.
Licence
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the guide for your own travel. You may keep a copy on your own devices and print it for your own use. You may not share, resell, publish, upload or otherwise distribute the guide or any part of it, and you may not remove any notice identifying it as ours. We may withdraw access from an account that breaks these rules.
Accounts
Guides are tied to the customer account used at checkout. Sign-in is by a one-time code sent to your email address, so please use an address you control. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of purchase. We may change prices at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Content and third-party links
Guides contain links to hotels, restaurants, museums and other third-party websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for those sites, their content or the services they offer. We take care to keep information accurate, but opening hours, prices and availability change, and we do not guarantee that every detail is current at the time of your trip.
Refunds
Because guides are delivered immediately, refunds are governed by our Return and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Intellectual property
All text, maps, photographs and design in our guides and on this site belong to Joy&Join or its licensors and are protected by copyright.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a guide is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute is subject to the courts at our registered seat, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to a different forum.
